A place to start.

A place to start.

Please bear with me and Blue car garage for a short time. I have moved personally and have now moved BCG into a garage as well. It is small but has storage on the second floor. That is a huge plus when talking car parts.
The ground floor will fit 2 small cars with room to work around them. A steel beam is set up for an electric hoist which will increase our motor work capabilities.
To many it may not seem like much. To us at Blue Car Garage; and me personally, it was a goal that took 7 months to fulfill. The small overhead costs will easily be sustainable even through a long slow spell. Not seeing that happen yet as we are booked solid for our first 2 weeks. Just the first step towards a dream of repairing and building cars. Or any vehicle for that matter…

2014 Jeep Cherokee Not Recommended by Consumer Reports

While the 2014 Jeep Cherokee has been selling well since it went on sale in October, the new SUV failed to score high enough to make Consumer Reports’ list of recommended vehicles. After testing a Cherokee Latitude with the 2.4-liter I-4 and Cherokee Limited with the 3.2-liter V-6, the consumer magazine called the SUV an “uneven package” and found it “half-baked.” The Cherokee failed to wow the testers in several areas, including drivetrain performance, fuel economy, and handling. Consumer Reports called the Latitude underpowered and “not very fuel efficient.

Saleen Tesla Model S Announced, No Release Date Set

The existing performance-trim Tesla Model S P85, which we recently saw out-drag a 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Z51, is already quite swift off the line thanks to its 416-hp all-electric drivetrain. All 443 lb-ft of torque an be directed to the rear wheels at 0 rpm, making the Tesla Model S a zero-emissions speed demon. Neither Tesla nor Saleen has come forward with a release date for the Saleen Tesla Model S, but a spec sheet showing some of Saleen’s planned modifications is on the way.

“I fully intend to produce one of the most compelling Tesla’s to ever hit the roadway,” said Saleen in a Tesla statement.

The question now is how Saleen will achieve the bonkers-level performance increase we expect from them with our 2013 Automobile of the Year. Modified aerodynamics? Bigger electric motors? Greater use of lightweight materials? Let us know in the comments what you think Saleen will to do get the most out of the Tesla Model S.

This hot hatch would Audi a competitor by another small hatchback, high power as the Fiat 500 Abarth, the Mini Cooper S and Volkswagen Polo GTI.

In Europe, the standard is offered with a range of four-cylinder small gasoline and diesel Audi A1 engines. We have previously heard that an Audi S1 was under consideration, which would use the same supercharged and Turbo 1.4 litre four-cylinder petrol as the Volkswagen Polo GTI. Read This: Chris Harris condemns demonization of Porsche Carrera GT in wake of Walker death

When something bad happens, it’s easy to resort to scapegoating. At least for some of us, that seems to be exactly what has happened following the tragic death of actor Paul Walker and racer Roger Rodas, who were killed on November 30 in a Porsche Carrera GT. Even though officials have not yet determined the cause of the crash, that isn’t stopping many theories from being put for – theories that include blaming the Porsche supercar. Rather predictably, not only is the CGT’s difficult nature getting examined, but indeed, the nature of all high-performance cars is being put under the public’s microscope, with some wondering what the need for all the power is.

A Google search of “Porsche Carrera GT” will find no shortage of articles about the razor-sharp handling and outright speed of the CGT. Pistonheads’ Chris Harris has a different, insightful take on both the Carrera GT and the nature of all fast cars. He reflects on the matter, ironically, en route to drive the successor to the car that killed Walker and Rodas, the 900-horsepower 918 Spyder hybrid supercar.

We think it’s well worth a read, as it makes a number of good points about modern high-performance automobiles and the way they’re used. Click over and take a look.News Source: Pistonheads

One by one, these trucks Hi after disappeared, but if there is one place where you can live with their successors, the SEMA.

Just announced before the opening of the Show, Chevrolet goes Vegas with Cheyenne Silverado can be seen here. Has, of course, on the basis of the new Silverado, regular cab, standard form field, but cuts out some of the excess weight, use all the important power to weight ratio.

Replacing fenders, tailgate and cargo of carbon fiber, Chevy declined 200 pounds off the curb weight. I’ve also fallen ride height and rear stabilizer, carbon ceramic brakes Brembo and Borla exhaust, but the most important thing, now converted to a 5.3-liter V8 with the company’s new 6.2-liter V8 small block good capable of 420 horsepower and 460 Pound-feet of torque-pulse 65 hp and 77 lb-ft. in other words, the production version of this platform is that it will be a very fierce competitor for Ford recently released shaking 2014 F-150.

Cheyenne looks like one slick ride, especially for the Camping World NASCAR truck racing fans. Brembo ceramic brakes Camaro Z/28 carbon save more weight because the rotors, ceramic, carbon matrix are much lighter than traditional steel impellers. Camaro Z/28, for example, saves more than 20 pounds-and saves a sprung mass, too, that improves the performance of more direct service. The car rolls on charcoal-painted alloy wheels 19-inch Camaro Z/28 and high-quality tires.

Cheyenne diet removes the towing, spare wheel, inside the centre console and deadening material. The cart also has a lightweight aluminum and composite driveshaft rear leaf springs.
